Past Events

Hands Across the Border - Fall 2017
The Fall 2017 event will be on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at a gala dinner show.

We will be treated to a memorable performance by Bill DeGroot.in his artistic tribute to Roy Orbison. Orbison (1936- 1988), nicknamed the Big O, was an American singer-songwriter and musician, known for his distinctive, impassioned voice, complex compositions, and dark emotional ballads. The combination led many critics to describe his music as operatic, giving him the sobriquet “the Caruso of Rock.” It may not be Roy himself who entertains us but we should thoroughly enjoy Bill DeGroot’s artistic tribute to the Big O. The social period will begin at 5:30; dinner at 6:00; the entertainment at 7:30.
